CSS Image Map

I’m finally giving in to Dreamweaver after several years of using Taco HTML Edit (RIP Taco!). It’s been a huge difference, I feel I’m a professional programmer now.. except.. I’m not.. sigh..

So I played with Dreamweaver a bit, familiarized myself with it, created a single HTML file and a single CSS file. The result? An interactive image map of Connecticut displaying county names and its population density.

I wasn’t sure how to include all the code into this blog post and make it functional so I provided it on a separate page – link. If you have any questions about the code, please feel free to ask.

The beauty is that it truly is just HTML and CSS – no Javascript, no Flash, nothing else.
